Shakespeare Cast Products is committed to protecting and enhancing the environment. We work with our supply chain to reduce operational energy consumption, and pollution prevention and recycling are fundamental objectives of the company's annual environmental targets and objectives.

We support our Environmental Policy through documented procedures and systems, aiming to reduce to a minimum unnecessary materials, resources and energy consumption.

We use recycled materials throughout our supply chain wherever possible, from raw materials through to packaging and pallets. We also operate specialised equipment to process used poly-patterns for disposal and recycling, while maintaining our environmental and health & safety standards.

Our 2021/22 Environmental Objectives:

• Work with suppliers who demonstrate sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
• Invest in energy-saving office equipment, targeting a 5% reduction in peak-time energy consumption.
• Install water-saving devices and recycled water systems, targeting a 5% reduction in water consumption while increasing production.
• Segregate and recycle scrap metal responsibly.
• Provide dedicated bins for plastic, paper and aluminium waste across our offices.

Our Directors review the Environmental Policy annually as part of the company's QHSE assessment, ensuring our strategy remains relevant to our current operations.
